The Christchurch branch of SiS, and the only Korean study abroad agency we have found with a staffed office in the South Island. It handles Canterbury school placement, language courses and university applications from a central city office on Colombo Street, backed by the same network that runs the Auckland, Tauranga, Seoul and Busan offices.
About
SiS (신인수 유학원) has a staffed branch office in central Christchurch, on Colombo Street, and it is the only Korean study abroad agency we have been able to confirm with a physical office in the South Island. Everyone else in this category sits in Auckland or the Bay of Plenty.
What to expect · 방문 안내
- Canterbury school placement: primary, intermediate and secondary schools in and around Christchurch, rather than a referral back to an Auckland desk.
- Language and tertiary: language school placement, foundation courses, and university and postgraduate applications.
- Working holiday and study to residence: the same coverage as the other branches, including planning for the course to work to residence route.
- Part of a branch network: the same company runs the Auckland, Tauranga, Seoul and Busan offices, so a student moving cities stays with one agency.
- No student-side placement fee: the agency states it charges nothing for school and university processing. Confirm the scope in writing before signing.
Paid advice on a student, work or residence visa is regulated in New Zealand and requires an Immigration Advisers Authority licence unless the person is exempt. Check the IAA register before paying for visa advice. Course details and fees change, so confirm the current position with them directly.
