Emma Hair Stylist (엠마 헤어 스타일리스트) is a Korean salon in East Tāmaki, East Auckland, run by Emma. It is a one-stylist salon working one-to-one — Emma takes a single client at a time, so the appointment is yours from the consultation through to the finish. It is the kind of place where you can settle into the chair and explain, in Korean, exactly the length, tone and shape you are after, then watch it come to life. Emma works in a “NZ and Korean style”, so you get careful Korean colour and perm technique with an easy Kiwi finish.

• One client at a time. A solo salon offering one-to-one service only, so the consultation is unhurried — and appointments are worth booking ahead.
• Korean-speaking stylist, so there is no lost-in-translation moment about how much to take off or which tone you want.
• Korean perms are a specialty: digital perms for soft, lasting curls, C-curl setting (duo) perms for volume and outward flicks, and magic straightening for glossy, smooth hair.
• Colour and cuts too: full colour, bleaching, and western-style colour work — balayage and sombré, including cool platinum air-touch — plus precision bobs and cuts for women, men and kids, treatments and styling.
• Advice you take home. Consultations cover how to look after the colour or perm at home, and salon-quality haircare products are available to buy at the salon.
• A bright, modern space in an East Tāmaki business park: a couple of styling chairs, a small waiting area, and a wall of professional products.
